Huge Announcement

Dear Readers, 
 

     First, I want to welcome all of the newcomers and thank all of the faithful followers.  It really means a lot to me to have such a following.  However, I don't exactly know how to start this, but I have some bad news.  I am going to be retiring at the end of October.  I have thought LONG and HARD about this and tried to put it off as long as possible.  However, it is time. See, my family and I are going to be adopting children with special needs, namely Downs Syndrome.  With the two teenagers that I homeschool and ordering my life as well as I can (before we get a child placed with us), designing is one of those time consumers that I need to cut out now.  While I have no idea when we'll get placed with a child, I don't want to have my teens thinking, "Mom, quit just because of the new kid." if you catch my drift.  I am sorry to let any of you down.  I really have enjoyed my time designing and getting to know some of you.  Please, please follow me and our adventure on my personal blog.  Especially when we get our little one.  You never know I may even create a kit here and there.  

 

     Again, I want to thank each and everyone of you who have said lovely comments, bought my products and made me enjoy designing.  A very special thanks goes out to my wonderful CT; Hilly, Landi, Star, San, & Becca.  They have been my backbone.  One special lady deserves a special thank...Andi.  She really was my right hand-gal.  She helped make Alamama's Pressed Petals possible.  Also, I will be around the digi-forums, I will always be a digi-scrapper first.

Dear Customers,
August has been beyond a crazy month for me. Along with the normal business of life we are going to be adopting. We have been filling out paper work, going to training, doing homework, making many calls, etc. While a

ll totally worth it, it has been eating up my time. I also homeschool two teenagers. TDC's server crash really did me in. I feel so far behind and have no mojo.
So, I just wanted to apologize for not having any new products or freebies for you. I hope to get my mojo back here soon and get some time to create for you.

Hey friends, have you heard the Fabulous News?  After days of behind the scenes work & re-uploading in X-Cart, we are happy to introduce our new and improved shop.  The Digi Chick is back up and running rather smoothly.  Sure there are a few glitches here and there but overall, we are getting things back to normal.  Have you missed the Shop and Forum at The Digi Chick like I have?  It's been great that we have been able to stay in contact via facebook and email, and that the Forum was running for most of the time.  When you're addicted like this girl, it makes it difficult to get my fix when we're down...LOL.

Hiya friends.  Have you heard the news?  The Digi Chick has been down and out for the past 2 days.  I don't know about you, but it can be quite frustrating not to be able to shop and chat in the forum.  There has been a server issue and the problem is being dealt with and the store and forum should be back online soon.  I'm so sorry for this and appreciate your patience as this is being resolved.

So, instead of a New Release that should be open today, I will show a Sneak Peek of my newest Kit.  This New Release has been postponed until next Thursday, August 16th instead.  Are you ready?
